You made me LOL, even as I was crying inside for you. "They still let you sleep inside". Yes, that is great. If you don't laugh you will totally cry. Glad you made it through...for now. "If it doesn't rain, it pours" seems apt. It is so much worse now than it used to be, and they take all the competition out of services and you are beholden to God knows who..some 3 letter agency who doesn't know their ass from a hole in the ground. Any government agency is full of bureaucrats that steal our tax dollars for doing nothing but sucking up swamp water. I am so sorry you have to deal with 'them' continuously. I am glad you found ONE person out of how many? who knew what they were doing. Hope you got their private number!!♥ It is not easy to do what you do, as a matter of fact it is one of the hardest things on earth to be a caregiver to someone you love dearly. Forever. You have my deepest respect.♥♥♥

Oh, Sunnydaze! God bless you!

This is one example -- an excruciating one -- of why I do everything I can to stay away from 𝒂𝒏𝒚𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈 involving "agencies" or gubb-mint. I'm sure there were even more gruesome details that you've omitted, but just reading about the phone calls, emails, follow up, paperwork -- Ugh!!! Our vaunted "public serpents." I mean, servants.

Funny thing is I do everything I can to stay away from “agencies” too! Lol. Unfortunately, I don’t have the luxury of purging them out of my life. Haha.

I’m just astonished at how you can talk to multiple people at the same agency and get a different answer every single time. It’s infuriating. Whatever happened to training people properly so they can do their job properly! Yikes!

Yes, I understand. :(

I remember years ago, after being laid off during the '08-'09 "financial crisis," having a call with the MA Office of Unemployment. Bit of a story, but suffice it to say, it actually brought me to tears. The guy was very nice, but the circumstances I was asking about and the official answers were so convoluted, it was beyond my understanding. What is this guy saying to me???

In my efforts to understand the essentially un-understandable (Even he admitted it was a little crazy-making -- ya think?), I actually broke down. He tried to reassure me that everything was fine, would be fine, etc., etc., but no matter. I'd already had my head explosion. I said good-bye.

The guy actually called me back! He said he felt so bad that he'd made me cry..."Don't worry. Everything is fine...you won't be cut off..." Blah, blah, blah.

Absolutely and completely crazy-making, so I think I can relate -- at least partly -- to what you have to go through. :(

And there you have it! Caregiver or some other job. Different circumstances but same dealings with “agencies” and their untrained, poorly trained, incompetent, or just too lazy to care employees. At least the guy seemed to care about your gobbledygook- that’s a start. 😏

Thank you 😊.

Maybe, you just gotta contort your body and turn it into a pretzel, then stretch your neck like a giraffe a bit more to find that window 🤪🤪

Yikes! Hang in there!
